Hi All,

Good Morning Everybody.

Please answer below questions.

1: How to know transfer files are corrupted or not in Unix/Linux?Is there any command to check copied file from one server to another corrupted or not?

2:How to convert files from doc’s to pdf in Unix/Linux?

3:I need lines 100 to 70 from a file in Unix/Linux?

4:How to configure alert for high memory utilization and disk space issues in Nagios?
5:I am not able to restart apache how to trouble shoot?

You can overcome this by using checksum of a file, before copying a file make checksum of it and compare it with the checksum of transferred (or) copied file.

for creating checksum for a file

#md5sum filename

By using some tools like abiword, lowriter you can convert doc’s to pdf

once look at the below link

By using sed you can grep lines btwn 70 and 100

for ex:

#sed '70,100!d' filename

(or)

 sed -n '/70/,/100/p' filename

As a normal user you dont have rights to restart apache, for restarting apache you should have sudo access

I am not able to restart apache how to trouble shoot?

I have sudo rights as well but still I am not able to restart?can you tell me what all are the possible reasons.

You have sudo rights to manage apache service…?

And how you are trying to restart apache(command plz) and what error you are getting.
