[SOLVED] Where is the sudo log in openSUSE 13.2?

#1

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know where is the sudo log in openSUSE? In CentOS, sudo messages are logged to /var/log/secure whereas in Debian and derivatives it is found in /var/log/auth.log. I haven’t been able to find it in my openSUSE 13.2 box.

Thanks in advance.

I found the answer to my own question. It looks like OpenSUSE moved exclusively to a journal-based log so the sudo log can be displayed with

journalctl | grep sudo | grep COMMAND

Hope it helps.
