Can any one please guide me for these scientific softwares in Centos

Hi Friends

I am new in a project where I have to install many scientific software in server. As of my knowledge Intel Compiler and Open mpi is a mandatory one to install below software. I understand what is compiler with some basic concept, So can any one please reply here what intel compiler do and what open mpi do.

Also please if any one has done installation of below software in Centos 6.7 please guide me tested installation steps and pre requisite to install these.

Software names - Amber, Gaussian 3.0, Turbomolo, Dalton, Orca , Columbus, Newton-x.

To be frank I never ever heard about those scientific software’s names in my 6 years of Linux journey… :worried: Did anyone here ever installed those applications in CentOS 6 ot 7? Please help him…

Neither have I. I’ve heard of Scientific Linux, which is RHEL based though. Maybe you could ask them for help: https://www.scientificlinux.org/community/
