Can we join Linux machines under Windows Active Directory Domain

We have both Windows & mac systems and Windows 2008 Server. Can we add all these machines to Windows Active Directory domain?

@itz_sashi

Yes, you can easily join Linux machine under Windows AD with the help of Zentyal open source tool. We’ve already covered a complete series on Zentyal at Tecmint, you can find all the guides at:

http://www.tecmint.com/install-zentyal-as-primary-domain-controller-and-integrate-windows-system/

i think clearOS is better than Zentyal. We had lot of issues with Zentyal such as DNS & even replication problem.

Yes ClearOS is must better with easy of use than zentyal…

I tried installing Zentyal, but i am not able to see many installation options as shown in Tecmint’s document. Any way i will try ClearOS. Can you please share any document on ClearOS,

Here is ClearOS installation doc…

i’m a bit curious about, can we also control Linux machines’s policies like disabling access to change wallpaper and network configuration, or disabling removable storage access, etc from Windows RSAT ?
