Many new Linux users find it hard to adapt to using the command line today. This has been as a result of many GUI applications being developed to achieve the same tasks that a user of Linux, would be required to accomplish efficiently and more appropriately by using command line utilities. Though these GUI applications are good, it is more helpful for those who are new to Linux to get used to the command line other than GUI applications. I think we can find out from different experienced users, about the different ways in which text-based operating systems and GUI operating systems work, in relation to using the command line to control the system for efficient and more secure system utilization.
