Issue while scripts exit

hi Team ,

am using AIX6.1…wrote a menu based shell script but while exiting it creates a rough process which gets active on the server but the terminal…it worked perfectly first time and second time it genarated …i suspect this is an OS issue since i have checked the script there is nothing faulty in it…last statment is

6 to ext
then
exit

and other parameters call the same scripts when their job is finished (brings back to same menu.)

Can you share your complete script here? I am afraid we can’t do much with the info provided in your post.

figured it out…i was exiting properly from the terminal.
script has one option for to get into ksh and i again started the script , so it created a loop…which ended up in process being left.
