MariaDB or MongoDB. Why?

I am Creating a small Local Web-Server. What should i choose for back-end? MariDB or MongoDB.

MariaDB is a very close fork and binary replacement of MySQL… which is the large scale standard for a very good reason. It is incredibly fast, complex searches are almost instant with little overhead, it is amazing in it’s ability become larger and larger without slowing down or dying. It uses a simple language (SQL) over 20 years old that is basic standard for most databases in any environment.

MongoDB is a whole different approach. It takes more memory, is less easily scaled up, is more complex for most programmers to learn, requires more code, but can be easier if you know it already in some small situations.
