I have Ubuntu 14.10 installed on my machine and from past few days it is not showing up Network icon on top notification bar. I have checked for the solution, and even checked if there is any problem with Network Manager job but not able to figure out the exact reason. Can anyone suggest me the solution for this???
try to uninstall indiactor-applet-complete by running.
$ sudo apt-get remove indiactor-applet-complete
followed by
$ sudo apt-get install indiactor-applet-complete
Then restart the system and see if it helps.
